Tracerco™ PED2
Tracerco’s Personal Electronic Dosimeters (PED2s) measure and record both accumulated dose and dose rate. PEDs measure the equivalent dose Hp(10), accumulated due to gamma and X-ray radiation, which is the equivalent dose at 10 mm below surface of the upper body. Therefore, PEDs must be worn on the upper body.
PEDs can be configured and managed using Tracerco’s purpose built, cloud-based software, DoseVision2™, referred to as DoseVision in this document. Data is then automatically uploaded from the PED to DoseVision using a Universal Serial Bus (USB) connection. DoseVision displays data graphically and allows users to set alarm levels and other settings on PEDs.
Attention: PED2 devices can only be used with
DoseVision2™ software.
PEDs measure dose rates in the range 0 to 100 mSv/h (0 to10 rem/h), with extended range calibration option for all variants available to measure dose rates in the range 0 to 1.0 Sv/h (0 to 100 rem/h). The Tracerco PEDs are as follows:
PED2

features as standard.
PED2-IS
The PED2-IS is an intrinsically safe version of the PED.
PED2+ and PED2-IS+
The PED2+ and PED2-IS+ range have additional features
such as:
• Built-in Global Positioning System (GPS) monitoring
for logging location information along with dose data
• Pop-up alarm messages which are customisable for
individual user scenarios
• Handheld mode, which allows both the PED2+ and
PED2-IS to be used as portable survey meters

The equipment screen and case are conductive; however, it is advisable to limit the possibility of static charge build-up by cleaning only with a damp lint-free cloth. Do not exceed the ambient temperature range stated on the certification mark label.
